COLLEGE OF FINE ARTS
Have you ever wanted to sing in a world famous choir (other than the Red Bridge ward choir)? Have you wanted to sing with musicians from all over the world? Well this is your chance. You can join composer and conductor Eric Whitacre's Virtual Choir. This is how it works. You go to his site, and download the part that you would like to sing, Alto or Soprano. Then you learn the music as you watch a YouTube video of Eric Whitacre conducting the song. Finally, you record yourself with a webcam singing your part and submit it. All the videos are then cut together to make a Virtual Choir. For detailed instructions on his website click here. If you would like to see Eric's last Virtual Choir performance of Lux Aurumque, click here. Be part of an amazing experience and earn a credit in the College of Fine Arts.
