The College of Physical Education invites you to participate in the 2nd Annual Kansas City Temple Run 5K. It will be held on Saturday, May 19, at the Kansas City Temple. The 5K begins at 10am and there will also be a Kids Run at 11:30. You can walk or run the 5K, or do a combination of both. There were many people who walked the just over 3 miles last year. Or check out this Couch to 5K training schedule that will have you running 3 miles in just a couple of months. It is a 3 day a week workout that will build your endurance and get you ready. You can do it!
Go to templerun.net where you can get more information, register, order T-shirts, or volunteer to help at the run. You can also see pictures from last year's race. So set a goal to participate, and earn a credit in the College of Physical Education!
